How do you go from owning five and dime stores in London and Jackson County to selling insurance? That would have been a good question for Clarence Patton, who sold his five and dime stores to join Tom Craft and John Bruner in the insurance business in the 1950's to create the Craft - Patton Agency. Although it has changed hands a few times, the current location has been the same since the 1960's. Yandall opened the very first insurance agency that is now known as the current PCB Insurance. Patton Chesnut Binder Insurance has been serving clients in the London, Laurel County, and the surrounding areas for several decades.
